Do you work with anyone?
No. Unless you're a course creator. It's better that you find someone that works in your niche.
Who this is not for
This is NOT for you if: you need someone to run your ads, manage your email, or build your website (we do positioning and copy, that's it); you're looking for a magic bullet; you can't articulate what your course does and who it helps; you want us to interview your customers for you. This IS for you if: you have a course that works but your sales page doesn't reflect it; you've tried agencies, freelancers, or DIY and nothing stuck; you know your positioning is off but can't see the fix yourself; you're ready to invest 2-3 hours of your time over 21 days to get this right.
Who should I bring from our team?
No more than 3 people (too many cooks in the kitchen). Ideally only key people who understand your product (offer), customers and go to market strategy.
How long does the process take?
21 days from when you submit your intake form. Most of that time is us doing research and building your positioning options. You'll spend about 2-3 hours total on your side (intake + positioning call).
Will you also design our sales page?
The deliverable is a wireframe that is extremely basic in terms of design. The positioning and copy is production ready.
Will you write my other pages?
The process covers the positioning of your offer. One strategy and one sales page. We can help you further position case studies, home page etc… for an additional cost.
Will you interview our customers?
We don't do this for four reasons: it would cost you a lot more; the process would be slower; we do not know your industry enough; and the last thing we would recommend is to outsource the talking to your customers. This project will succeed (or fail) based on how well you know them.
Will our conversions improve?
If your positioning shifts significantly, you might have to adjust your top of the funnel marketing strategy. If you used to target developers but now target executives, then your initial conversions should drop unless your marketing begins targeting executives. However, assuming the marketing strategy is now targeting executives then your conversion rate will improve for that ideal target audience.
What work do I have to do?
Fill out intake questions, fill out copywriting questionnaire, provide demo of product (SAAS) / outline (COURSE) / explanation of service (AGENCY or COACH), provide a recording of sales call (if you have one).
Will you sign a non-compete?
We will not.
Do you help with other things (like ads)?
We can give initial ideas for those at additional cost but will not produce ads for you. Our process should influence how you target your audience.
What is a sales page wireframe?
Wireframe is copy with an outline of layout so that you know what goes where. Example: logo here, image here, bio here etc… Here's a visual:
